And if you need information on Blackbutt Reserve or a hot cup of tea, head to the Kiosk, which is open daily from 10 am to 3 pm (excluding Wednesdays, Thursdays, Sundays, Good Friday, Anzac Day, and Christmas Day). Enjoy your visit even more by using the picnic facilities, which are open from 7 am until 7 pm and include shelters, BBQs, and nature walks.

Simply purchase a cone of food from the Kiosk and watch as the emus saunter up to nibble away at the food and cones. Additionally, visitors can purchase activity packs that will keep them entertained on a scavenger hunt at Carnley Avenue.  The activity packs offer a unique way to explore the picnic area while searching for the animals. Other visitors prefer to explore the 7 different walking trails through varying forest types, which offer breathtaking scenery and natural features. With many exciting options available, Blackbutt Nature Reserve is the perfect destination for an outdoor adventure.
